PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composite false-twisted yarn having triple to sevenfold wound structures whose lengths, sizes and formed positions are regular or irregular, by arbitrarily regularly or irregularly changing the lengths, sizes and formed positions of the wound structures such as slubs or neps during a composite false-twisting processing. SOLUTION: This method for producing a composite false-twisted yarn comprises changing the rotation rate of an effective yarn-feeding roller 7 and the rotation rate of a false-twisting spindle to form triple to sevenfold wound structures during a composite false-twisting processing wherein an effective yarn 6 fed through an effective yarn guide 8 is wound on a core yarn 1 between a core yarn-feeding device 2 and a heater 3.
