PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helmet capable of improving insertion workability of an attaching part arranged on an inner body, having excellent retainability of the attaching part inserted between a shell and a liner. SOLUTION: A shock absorbing liner 5 is installed inside a shell 2 and an inner body 11 is arranged inside the shock absorbing liner 5. The inner body 11 is provided with an attaching part 24 having such a flexibility as to be inserted into the gap between the shell 2 and the shock absorbing liner 6. The attaching part 24 is equipped with a belt-like part 28 and thick insertion parts 29, 30 and 31 formed thicker than the belt-like part 28. The tips of the thick insertion parts 29, 30 and 31 are more projected than the tip 28A of the belt-like part 28. The thick insertion parts 29, 30 and 31 are inserted into the gap between the shell 2 and the liner 5 so that the insertion operation of the attaching part 24 can be readily performed. Since the thick insertion parts 29, 30 and 31 can be relatively deeply inserted, its retainability can be improved.
