FLUORO-GROUP-CONTAINING AND AMINO-CONTAINING ORGANOPOLYSILOXANE AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fluoro-group-containing and amino-containing organopolysiloxane having improved water repellency and oil repellency and improved compatibility with other materials by selecting an organosiloxane having a specified structure. SOLUTION: The fluoro-group-containing and amino-containing organopolysiloxane is one represented by the formula (wherein R1s may be the same or different from each other and are unsubstituted or substituted monovalent hydrocarbon groups; Rf is a 3-15C monovalent perfluoroalkyl; R2 is R1, OH or an alkoxyl; n is 2 or 3; m is 0 or 1; X is 1-500; Y is 1-100; and Z is 1-50). This polymer is obtained by reacting a cyclic polyorganosiloxane with a cyclic polyfluoroalkylorganosiloxane, an amino-organic-group-containing organopolysiloxane, and a polyorganosiloxane in the presence of a basic catalyst. By suitably selecting the mixing ratio among the reactants, a polymer having a desired fluoro group content and a desired amino content can be obtained.
