PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily apply to an existing AC power source, and improve the stability of electrodes, and also, form a uniform pit by constituting a counter electrode of a main counter electrode and an auxiliary counter electrode, connecting a circuit for the auxiliary counter electrode to a circuit connecting to the main counter electrode in parallel, and at the same time, making a DC current flow to the auxiliary counter electrode. SOLUTION: An auxiliary counter electrode 3 is provided, and at the same time, a DC power source 6 is connected to the auxiliary counter electrode 3, and a current which flows on a main counter electrode 2 is controlled in a manner to be A<B, C<D. For the DC power source 6, the current value is preferably controlled together with an AC power source 5, and also, (the current which is made to flow to the auxiliary counter electrode 3)/(the alternating current)=0.001-0.3 is preferable, and (the current which is made to flow to the auxiliary counter electrode 3)/(the alternating current)=0.01-0.2 is more preferable, and 0.03-0.1 is even more preferable. By this constitution, this method can be easily applied to a device using an already existing AC power source 5 without modifying the power source or the like. Also, the stability of the electrodes can be improved, and also, a uniform pit can be formed.
