PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a numbering box of a mechanism capable of repeatedly continuously printing without stopping a printer used for printing a number. SOLUTION: In the numbering box A having a plurality of character wheels, numbers of a predetermined range are printed, and then to convert a final number of the range to an initial number, a protrusion is provided at a position before a numeral to be finally converted to an opposite side face to a feeding groove of a maximum digit character wheel, and the groove having a depth of the degree for operating no feeding pawl of the wheel of a lower site is provided adjacent to an existing deeper feeding groove. After the final number is printed, a feeding pawl for converting the character wheel (a) by bringing it into contact with a protrusion of an opposite side face to the feeding groove of the maximum digit character wheel is provided.
