PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug type insert holding tool which can be easily operated when a plug part is to be removed. SOLUTION: An insert holding tool 10 is provided with a plug part 11 mounted on the opening side of an insert and a projected part 20 projected from the set face 12 of this plug part 11. The plug part 11 can be molded into a hollow shape opening on the opposite side of the projected part 20 and the diameter of the projected part 20 extended from the set face 12 can be made small. When this projected part is inserted into a set hole prepd. in advance on a form, the insert can be set and the diameter of the set hole can be small. An operating parts 30 for removing the plug part 11 are provided and as the plug part 11 can be removed by the operating parts 30 exposed on the surface of concrete after a mold is released, it is easily operated and mold releasing work can be surely performed in a short time.
