PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of peeling work by fitting an edge to a pipe-like body fitted t the thumb or the like by a rivet or the like, and pressing the edge of a peeler to the surface of a potato or the like while turning as peeling the fruit. SOLUTION: An edge 2 is fitted to a pipe-like body 1 fitted to the thumb or the like by a rivet or the like to constitute a peeler. In use, the peeler body 1 is fitted to the thumb of the hand which is not effective with the edge 2 inside of the finger. In such a condition, a potato 3 or the like is held by the effective hand, the edge 2 is pressed to the potato 3, and while the pressing degree such as an angle, strength or the like is controlled with all of the fingers of both hands, the potato 3 is turned to be peeled 4. The edge 2 of the peeler is held by the thumb to be always put in a fixed position, and as the potato 3 can be turned by many fingers, the peeling operation is easy and finish is good.
