PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive freezer excellent in freezing effect by cooling a refrigerant from a condenser with cooling water. SOLUTION: An absorptive freezer constructs a freezing cycle by at least providing an absorber A, regenerators GH, GL, a condenser C, an evaporator E, solution heat exchangers XH, XL, a solution pump P1, a refrigerant pump P2, and solution flow passages 1 to 9 for interconnecting the former instruments, and refrigerant flow passages 10 to 13. In the absorptive freezer, a flow passage 18 is connected therewith for flowing cooling water into the freezer, and a refrigerant condenser PC is provided in the refrigerant flow passage 12 extending from the condenser C to the evaporator E for cooling a refrigerant flowing through the flow passage with cooling water. Cooling water used for the refrigerant condenser FC is used as inlet cooling water to the freezer. The refrigerant flow passage 12 from the condenser C to the evaporator E is constructed as a downward protruded piping capable of construction of liquid sealing, and the refrigerant condenser FC may be provided in the vicinity of a top of the protrusion or on the side of the evaporator from the top of the protrusion.
