PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a multiaxial type pressing fabric capable of being jointed in an endless form during being installed on a pressing part. SOLUTION: A multiaxial type pressing cloth 70 capable of being jointed on a machine for a pressing part of a paper machine comprises foundation fabric layers assembled by spirally winding a fabric belt by many adjacent turns. Filling yarns are removed from each turn of the fabric belt at folds to form untied parts of warp yarns. Joint elements having joint loops 60 are placed between the first fabric layer 40 and the second one 42 at folds of the flattened foundation fabric. The joint loops extend outwardly from both untied parts of warp yarns between the layers 40 and 42 which are laminated each other by being sewn-in with a beating material 66 made of staple fibers passing through the layers 40 and 42. The pressing fabric 70 is coupled in an endless form by inserting a pintle 62 into a passage formed by intertwining the joint loops 60 during being installed on a paper machine. |
