PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an anisotropic conductive film to be surely and temporarily fixed by a method wherein a slit of prescribed pattern is provided in a conductive layer so as to relax its heat dissipating action, and the anisotropic conductive film is ensured of a temperature condition necessary for temporary bonding. SOLUTION: Anisotropic conductive films(ACF) 22 of prescribed length are attached to a base film 29 at a prescribed interval so as to be temporarily fixed to a printed wiring board(PWB) 1. Guide rollers 33 and a temporary fixing bar 34 are provided in the rear side of the base film 29. A separating roller 35 that separates the ACF 22 from the base film 29 is provided adjacent to the guide roller 33. When the ACF 22 is temporarily fixed to the PWB 1, an interface between the ACF 22 and the PWB 1 is set at a temperature of 70 to 90 deg.C, and the temporary fixing bar 34 descends to be pressed against the PWB 1 with a pressure of 2 to 3 kgf/cm2 for three seconds, whereby the ACF 22 is bonded to the PWB 1 with a prescribed strength. A conductive layer 5 is shaped into a prescribed pattern through an electroless plating process so as to prevent the temporarily bonded ACF 22 from being separated.
