PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a print system that automatically prints out a picture a photographed by an electronic camera at proper timing without requiring attention of a user. SOLUTION: When a prescribed state showing no photographing is detected after a digital camera performs photographing, a printer 54 automatically starts printing of a photographed image. The print system is provided with a timer 62 as a means for detecting the no prescribed state showing no photographing e.g. detecting that a release switch 50 is not used for a prescribed time, a lens cover switch 74 that detects a closed lens cover of a digital camera and a grip switch 70 for detecting that a grip of the camera is not grasped or the like.
