PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copying device capable of facilitating the adjustment of an original regulating plate. SOLUTION: An original platen glass 2 is arranged adjacently to a stay 3 fixed on a main body frame 1, an adjusting member 4 whose movement can be adjusted is attached to the stay 3, and the original regulating plate 5 is positioned by fitting to the member 4. Then, the plate 5 is attached to the stay 3 through machine screws 7, and the glass 2 is pressed and fixed from above. Once the position of the member 4 is adjusted, the plate 5 is attached without adjustment thereafter.
