摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starting time fuel supply controller for calculating a reduction ratio in the intake air quantity and the leakage ratio of intake air exhaust for an internal combustion engine, detecting the entry of a foreign object in an intake valve or an exhaust valve and supplying fuel by adjusting the quantity of fuel so as to set the air-fuel ratio of a cylinder within a combustible range. SOLUTION: At the time of starting an internal combustion engine, when intake mixture in a combustion chamber 1 leaks from an intake valve 4 or an exhaust valve 6 in a compression stroke because of the entry of a foreign object such as carbon therein, a reduction ratio in an intake air quantity is calculated from an intake air quantity or the ratio of intake air exhaust leakage is calculated based on a battery voltage ratio or the like by a fuel supply controller 20 or the like. Based on one these values, the entry of the foreign object is determined, and the fuel supply quantity of the starting time is changed according to one of these values to supply fuel from a fuel injection valve 7. Thus, the air-fuel ratio of a cylinder in the combustion chamber 1 is set within a combustible range. Therefore, the starting performance of the internal combustion engine is improved.
