A wall covering panel 1 comprises two interfitting, moulded plastics tray shaped members 4, 5 with strengthening ribs 13 and sound insulation 10 therebetween covered with padding 3 held in place by a plastics sheath 2 seam welded to an edge fillet 11 on the member 5, two adjacent edges of the fillet being formed as tongues 15 and the other two as grooves 14. The side walls 8 and 9 may have mortice and tenon .interconnections. In a modification the plastics sheath is seam welded to a fillet 11 a on member 4 and the member 5 has screw holes 12.</p> |
