DISK LOADING ROLL AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent squeaking while maintaining conveying power by specifying the impact resilience of the elastic member of a disk loading roll with the elastic member disposed around a shaft. SOLUTION: The impact resilience of the elastic member is <=50%. The elastic member is formed from a mixture of a heat curing type silicone rubber and a low repulsion heat curing type silicone rubber having a lower repulsion than the above silicone rubber. The impact resilience of the low repulsion heat curing type silicone rubber is preferably 20-40%. The content of the low repulsion heat curing type silicone rubber is preferably 30-100 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the high repulsion heat curing type silicone rubber. The heat curing type silicone rubbers are preferably used with respect to production time. The rubber hardness of the elastic member is preferably 45-65 deg. shown by JIS A.
