FIELD: production of cement clinker in long rotary kilns. SUBSTANCE: method and device for crushing and screening of blast-furnace slag may be added to mixture materials charged into loading end of rotary cement kiln for production of cement clinker. Blast-furnace slag is subjected to crushing and screening to obtain slag particles sizing minimum diameter value about 51 mm and less. Device 10 has rotary kiln 12 resting on flanges 14 rotating together with kiln. Kiln has loading end 16 firing zone 18. Fuel source 20 forms tongue of flame 22 in pressure end of rotary kiln. Conveyer belt 24 with variable speed supplies mixture material to kiln. Blast-furnace slag is transported by conveyer device 46 to mixture material 48 which is charged through bin into kiln loading end. EFFECT: reduced energy consumption due to use of slag without preliminary drying and atomization in mixture composition for production of cement clinker. 9 cl, 4 dwg
