FIELD: mechanical engineering, particularly, tools for working of metals difficult to work. SUBSTANCE: grinding wheel is made as a body with groups of abrasive-carrying members and mechanism of synchronous motion of one group of these members. Abrasive-carrying members coupled to motion mechanism are made as sections of a ring with projections in middle part. Ring sections are mounted for axial movement in circular guides of body. Circular guides are shaped as a dovetail. Clearance between moving abrasive-carrying members and circular guides of body is adjusted by means of wedge and screw. The construction improves quality of working. EFFECT: reduced power consumption. 3 dwg
