The condensor (11) and apparatus for use in the partial ventilation of fluid in a respirator with a source for breathable fluid (4) is functionally connected to a unit (3) for introduction of breathable fluid into the lung of a patient (1). A ventilator (5) inserts breathing gas into the lung which contains the breathable fluid and moves away from the lung outwardly breathed gas through respective conduits for breathed in gas (7) and breathed out gas (8). - The condensor comprises a heat exchanger in thermic connection with both breathed-in and breathed-out gases, transmitting heat from the breathed-out gases to the breathed-in gases and condensing the liquid breathable fluid in the breathed-out gases.
