FIELD: machine-building plants. SUBSTANCE: grinding wheel is used for effective finishing working of blanks made of materials difficult to work and disposed to burns. Wheel body is made as a ring with longitudinal recesses and projections. Stationary abrasive-carrying members are positioned on projections. Recesses accommodate abrasive carrying members movable in longitudinal direction. Wheel includes mechanism of synchronous displacement of moving members. Construction of wheel allows installation of moving member at an angle to plane perpendicular to axis of rotation. EFFECT: enhanced cutting capacity. 6 dwg
