PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide impact absorbing materials which exhibit good vibration absorption capacity even when the thickness is thin and, at the same time, is lightweight. SOLUTION: Impact absorbing materials can be obtained by mixing a polyurethane elastomer with 1-60% by volume ratio fine hollow spheres, and have an impact absorption ratio of not less than 80%, a tack of 0.5 kg/cm2-1.6 kg/cm2, and a specific gravity of 0.4 g/cm3-1 g/cm3. It is preferred that the fine hollow sheres have an average particle size of 10μm-100μm, a specific gravity of 0.01 g/cm3-1 g/cm3, and ASCA F hardness of 30-80.
