PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an installation device for air conditioner in which a disman tling tool for exclusive use is not required and which is inexpensive and can be properly stored. SOLUTION: In this device, a hanging part is provided at the upper part of the rear side of an air conditioner body 1 and an engaging part is provided at the lower part of the rear side thereof, and an engaging piece formed at the upper part of a wall hanging board is engaged with the hanging part and a hole formed at the lower part of the wall hanging board is engaged with the engaging part, whereby the air conditioner body 1 is installed. A claw 18 for disengaging the engaging part from the hole formed at the lower part of the wall hanging board is formed on a cover 17 for electric machine part for controlling the operation of air conditioner so that the cover 17 is used as a dismantling tool when the body 1 is dismantled from the wall hanging board.
