The heat exchanger tube has at least one helical chicane inside. Each helical chicane extends along the tube axis over at least part of the whole length of the tube and the chicanes are integral to the internal surface of the heat exchanger tubes. An Independent claim is included for the production of the above tubes by fusing the primary material under vacuum and precision molding where the mold is burned off.
