<p>A controller for motor driven by means of an inverter device which outputs variable-voltage variable-frequence AC power, wherein, in order to minimize the time required from the input of a deceleration commande to the stoppage of a motor the shortest, the motor is decelerated and stopped within the shortest time by detecting the current flowing to the motor from the inverter device, converting the current into an exciting current and a torque current in a rotatory coordinate system, determining the power factor angle by using the exciting current and torque current and increasing the deceleration gradient until the power factor angle becomes negative on the basis of set deceleration time.</p> |
