A rectifying/smoothing circuit (3) comprises a first inductor connected between one end (2b1) of an output winding of a transformer (2) and a low-potential output (16b), a second inductor connected between the other end (2b2) of the output winding and the low-potential output, a first rectifier element (11) connected between one end of the output winding and a high potential side output part (16a), and a second rectifier element (12) connected between the other end of the output winding and the high potential output. A bipolar voltage (VS) induced across the output winding is rectified and smoothed to provide direct current voltage (VO). This circuit is small-sized and inexpensive, and exhibits improved smoothing performance. In this rectifying/smoothing circuit, the first and second inductors are composed of a first winding (17a) and a second winding (17) that are wound so that the magnetic fluxes generated by the currents flowing in them may offset each other.
|
