A mounting structure for a viscosity system damping wall (1) and a mounting method thereof, wherein the viscosity system damping wall (1), which comprises an upper-end-opened box body (20) formed by erecting a steel side plate on a base plate (8) and disposing flange plates (11) on the opposite sides of the side plate, a middle plate (14) inserted into the box body and a viscous material held in a clearance, is joined to a base plate joining hole (9) of a raising metal (6) and to a flange joining gusset plate (7) installed on a downstairs girder (3) and the middle plate (14) is directly joined to a gusset plate (13) mounted on an upstairs girder (4).
