OPTICAL JUNCTION SECTION

The present invention relates to an optical junction section comprising at least one optical fibre and used mainly for transmitting information. The optical fibre is bent several times, while portions of the fibre bent on the right (R) and on the left (L) are arranged about the whole junction section so that the twisting applied at the fibers (B) on said junction section is approximately equal to zero. This junction section is compact, flexible and has a length that can be modulated. This section essentially reduces the sensitivity of the optical-signal polarisation state relative to the shape variation of said junction section.
