<p>A method for detecting kidney diseases at the early stage characterized by measuring the concentration of human lipocalin-type prostaglandin D synthase in a body fluid sample collected from a subject and comparing the thus measured concentration with the human lipocalin-type prostaglandin D synthase concentration of body fluid samples obtained from healthy subjects; and a method for pathologically controlling kidney diseases characterized by measuring the concentration of human lipocalin-type prostaglandin D synthase in a body fluid sample collected from a subject and evaluating the glomerular filtration level of the patient therefrom.</p> |
