A device for conducting electrostatic charges in vehicles over a high-ohm resistance has the resistance (14,20) located between a door (2) and a body (8) of the vehicle (1). A hinge (6,7) located between the door and the body has a bush for separating two wings (9,10) of the hinge. At least one bush (14) is constructed out of high-ohm conducting material. The bush consists of an electrically conducting plastic. A hinge located between a door and a body of the vehicle is constructed to be electrically insulating and between the door and the body, a high-ohm electrical connection is provided.
