A pay or wages envelope comprises a removable record portion 20(Fig 3),48(Fig 5) and a closure flap 30,54. The removable portion 20,48 and an adjacent portion 46 are both printed with identical pay information using an ink jet or laser printer. After printing, portion 20(Fig 3) is removed along tear line 36 or portion 48(Fig 5) is peeled away from flap 54. Following inclusion of pay 38,40, the envelope is sealed by flap 30,54 by means of U-shaped glue margin 34,70. Flap 54 carries an obscuring garbled pattern 71. |
