The invention relates to a vehicle computer system, for use notably in a motor vehicle, a railway vehicle, an aircraft or a ship, which comprises at least two computers (10, 20) and at least one data bus (60) via which the at least two computers (10, 20) are connected to each other. At least one checking circuit (40) is positioned between a first computer (10) and a second computer (20) of the at least two computers and verifies whether a data exchange between the first and the second computer has been authorized for data processed or to be processed in said first or second computer. The checking circuit prevents the exchange of data if it has not been authorized for the data checked.
