<p>Aqueous lead-free cathodically deposited coating contains a binder and optionally crosslinker, pigments and/or usual additives, and also one or more sulfonic acid salts of vanadium, manganese, iron, zinc, zirconium, silver, tin, lanthanum, cerium, or bismuth and/or of organometallic compounds in an amount of 0.2-2 wt.%. An Independent claim is also included for a process for producing the coating comprising working the sulfonic acid salt into an aqueous dispersion of the coating binder and processing in the usual way to form the coating.</p> |
