A method of making a pump dispenser using a container with a flexible bag for dispensing semi-liquid or creamy substances includes using a flexible bag within an outer rigid container, a bushing fitting in the mouth of the container and a flexible bag secured to the lower part of the bushing in sealing relationship therewith. A pump dispenser is partially fitted in the bushing and the assembly of rigid container, bushing, flexible bag and dispenser are subjected to a vacuum to purge the bag of gas. Subsequently, the pump dispenser is sealingly fit to the bushing except for a venting opening in the bushing that is used to fill the space between the bag and the rigid container with preferably inert gas inserted through the pump dispenser. The pump dispenser is subsequently sealed to the mouth area of the rigid container. |
