PURPOSE: An improved shoe is provided to control the air flow in the shoe for collecting and pumping a contaminated air in the boundary area between the inside of the shoe and an air chamber. CONSTITUTION: Forced-ventilation shoe comprising a midsole or insole provided with a plurality of through-holes, resilient support means arranged between the outsole and the midsole or insole apt to form an air chamber between said elements, and means for occluding said holes, apt to close off individually the holes themselves during pressing of the foot on the insole. Preferably the occluding means consist of a plurality of relief projecting from the upper surface of the outsole and matching said holes.
