PURPOSE: A working control device of an elevator is provided to solve an illogical thing that it is possible to get in the elevator car only when there are more than two repair men on installing and repairing the elevator. CONSTITUTION: The device is installed with: a working manipulation unit(10) consisted of an on-cage switch, an up button, a down button, an approaching release switch and so on; a working control unit(8) for controlling the elevator by processing a signal transmitted from the working control unit; a speed control unit(9) for outputting a driving voltage to drive the elevator based on the control of the working control unit; an inverter for driving a driving motor(6) based on the driving voltage; a rotary encode(7) for outputting the pulse of a frequency in proportion to the number of rotation of the driving motor.
