PURPOSE: A method for an additional information service on multi-media television is provided to set a plurality of virtual channels, which is not duplicated with available channels, and register by matching registered additional information, which intend to give a service, to the set each virtual channel. CONSTITUTION: A method for an additional information service on muti-media television comprises the steps of: checking whether a selected converting channel is an available broadcasting channel or a virtual channel, when the converting channel signal is inputted during the operation of a seeing-hearing mode; converting and tuning a currently watching channel to the selected channel, when the selected converting channel is one of the available broadcasting channels, as a result of the checking process; performing a virtual channel corresponding mode according to a user's handling, until the demand for an ending of an additional information service, by providing to the side of a display after outputting the additional information data, registered in the selected converting virtual channel. |
