A combine harvester comprises a mowing table having at least two portions, a first of the portions being mounted substantially horizontally on an elevator housing and a second or outer portion being pivotable relative to the first portion, the portions being located, in operation of the harvester, side by side. The mowing table may comprise two outer portions. As illustrated the outer portion 4 is pivotally connected to a structure 7 or the housing by arms 14, 23. Movement of the portion is effected by a ram 32. When in the transport position (shown in dotted lines) the arms 23 abut a stop surface 29. A seal is effected between the portion 4 and the first portion by a rubber strip 37 which engages a plate 38, when the portion 4 is in its operative position. |
