摘要 PURPOSE: A car manless driving apparatus and method thereof is provided, which processes a picture signal inputted through a CCTV, extracts a distance and a relative velocity of a front obstacle, recognizes a road circumstance and a current position in a numeral map of a car navigation apparatus, and controls a steering system, a throttle system, and a brake system for driving a car in a manless driving. CONSTITUTION: The car manless driving apparatus comprises: a GPS receiver (10) for receiving a coordinate data and a visual data; a gyroscope sensor (20) for detecting a progress direction of a car; a car speed sensor (30) for detecting a number of rotation of a tire; a CD-ROM (40) for storing the car speed sensor (30) and a map data; a graphic control device (50) for controlling a display of the map data to be read out in the CD-ROM on a monitor; a LCD display device (60) for displaying a picture signal; a digital processing unit (80) for processing the picture of a CCTV (70); an audio output unit (110) for outputting a path guide and a warning as an audio signal; a CPU (240) for controlling a steering system (160), a throttle system (220) and a brake system (190). Thereby, it is possible to safely drive a car and perform a physical distribution automation.
