METHOD FOR ALLOTTING MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATION EXCHANGER TRUNK IN CDMA SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for allotting a mobile telecommunication exchanger trunk in CDMA(Code division multiple access) system is provided to improve drawback of roar or noise generated by vocoding a voice of EVRC vocoding using a channel of 8 Kbps vocoder. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of: initiating a link number and a trunk number; when a call is requested, confirming whether the call is tried; allotting one trunk number to one link number; allotting usable multiple channels every IA(Interface assembly) to the trunk of the MSC(Mobile switch center) such that the usable multiple channels are not wasted due to a failure of the link; allowing a basic call processing operation to be performed by the allotted trunk and channel. According to the method, even when a PCS terminal using EVRC vocoding manner tries a call, user can hear voice without roar or noise through the terminal speaker.
