PURPOSE:To improve a traffic control for avoidance of a collision with a follow ing vehicle from behind, avoidance of congestion by promoting bypassing, etc. CONSTITUTION:When an emergency such as a collision occurs, traffic information on the collision and information on the position of a vehicle at the time of detection of the foregoing information are transmitted (S120, 130). On the occasion when the traffic information and the information on the position stated above are received from another vehicle, on the other hand, the received information is displayed when a distance between the other vehicle and the own vehicle is within a prescribed one or when the other vehicle is located on the running route (S150, S240), on the basis of the information on the position of the aforesaid other vehicle and the information on the position of the own vehicle. In the case when a collision accident or the like occurs in front in running, accordingly, information on the accident and the position of occurrence thereof are displayed on a display unit of the following vehicle and thereby it is made possible for the following vehicle to avoid a collision from behind or to avoid a traffic congestion by bypassing the point of occurrence of the accident. |
