PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided, which can accurately measure an arrangement of a pixel electrode, a data line and a gate line. CONSTITUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises: a gate line (200); a data line (600) to be crossed to the gate line (200) for defining a pixel region and having a protrusion portion (M) to be formed at an inner side of the gate line (200); and a pixel electrode (800) to be formed within the pixel region and be superposed with the gate line (200) and the data line (600) at a uniform width, and be superposed in the protrusion portion (M) at a broad width, wherein the distance between a boundary line which the pixel electrode (800) and the protrusion portion (M) are superposed is over 2 micro meter and the distance between a boundary line which the gate line (200), the data line (600), and the pixel electrode (800) are superposed is less 1 micro meter. Thereby, it is possible to embody a LCD with a good picture quality.
