Electric arc torch with protective gas and a UV radiation source

Electric arc torch (1) comprises a body (6) with at least one source (7) of UV radiation at least partly formed inside the body in the vicinity of the downstream end of the body. The UV radiation source contacts or is in the vicinity of at least one electrically conducting part (5) which can be, at least temporary, brought to an electric potential different from zero. An Independent claim is also included for an automatic installation for working with electric arc.
