APPARATUS FOR REDUCING A SWITCHING NOISE AT A VEHICLE TELEVISION

PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to reduce a switching noise at a vehicle television by automatically intercepting a diversity only at detecting a best signal among four TV signals or when a strength of a TV signal is over a predetermined level. CONSTITUTION: The switching noise reducing apparatus comprises: a first switch(12) for switching after receiving four TV signals via a TV diversity antenna(10); a tuner part(14) for receiving an optimized TV signal switched by the first switch(12) to convert the received signal into an intermediate frequency; an image processing part(16) for generating a complex image signal after being converted into the intermediate frequency in the tuner part; an image signal detecting part(22) for detecting the strength of a TV image signal having an optimized receive sensitivity; a vertical synchronous signal detecting part(24) for detecting only a vertical synchronous signal; a second switch(20) for receiving the vertical synchronous signals from a display part(28) and the vertical synchronous signal detecting part to switch a vertical synchronous signal based on a control signal according to a state of the TV signal; and a micom(18) for receiving an image signal from the image signal detecting part and the vertical synchronous signal switched by the second switch to output the control signal to the first switch so as to switch four different TV signals outputted at the TV diversity antenna.
