PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for forming a change of a signal lamp using a car-audio is provided, which generates a warning sound through a speaker of a car-audio when a signal lamp is existed in the front of a car to form the generated sound to a driver. CONSTITUTION: The method for forming a change of a signal lamp using a car-audio comprises the steps of: (S1) stopping the signal generation in an encoder (20) when a signal is a green lamp in the case that a car enters within range of a sensor; (S2) operating the encoder (20) when the signal is a state before turning-on as a yellow lamp; (S3) decoding the received signal to input the decoded signal to a car-audio microcomputer (130); (S4) judging as to whether a decoder generating data is a correct value, performing the decoding step (S3) when a decoder generating data is not a correct value, and inputting an instruction to a volume unit (80) when a decoder generating data is a correct value; (S5) judging as to whether the signal is changed to a green lamp; and (S6) stopping the operation of a transmitting unit (10) when the signal is changed to a green lamp. Thereby, it is possible to pre-cope the situation of the signal lamp.
