PURPOSE: The revolving prevention means is provided to prevent the OPGW loosening and defects caused by twisting of a optical fiber and to assure a long term reliability. CONSTITUTION: The revolving prevention means, which is used at the installation of a OPGW and is connected to the OPGW, comprises: a weight means for preventing revolving of the OPGW; a combination unit for connecting the OPGW and the weight means each other; and a revolving prevention unit for preventing the weight means from revolving, which revolving is not over 90 degree from an installation process direction of the OPGW. The revolving prevention means includes a first trapping sill, which is located parallel to the installation process direction of the OPGW, for preventing the weight means from revolving over the installation process direction of the OPGW; and a second trapping sill for preventing the weight means from revolving over 90 degree from an installation process direction of the OPGW.
