PURPOSE: A controlling method of a driving motor for a microwave oven is provided to prevent the event that a matter to be cooked is partially scorched or half boiled by regularly feeding the flow of a cooling fan set to be fitted to the characteristic of the matter to be cooked when cooking food with a heater. CONSTITUTION: The control method of a driving motor for a microwave oven comprises the steps of:inputting the heater cooking of a microwave oven; selecting the matter to be cooked of the inputted heater cooking; setting up the speed of a cooling fan fitted to the selected matter to be cooked; and reducing the rotational frequency of a motor of the cooling fan by feeding the low voltage fitted to the set speed.
