PURPOSE: A position and speed detecting device of an elevator door is provided to be able to exactly detect the position and speed of the door. CONSTITUTION: The position and speed detecting device of the elevator door contains: an elevator door(30); a pocket(10) fixed and installed to place in the upper side of the door; a door hanger(20) combined between the door and the pocket to possibly move along the pocket with the door by hanging the door on the pocket; a power transmission device for closing and opening the door by receiving the rotation of the door driving motor; a pinion(71) rotating according to the movement of a rack by butting with the rack.
