In the present invention there is disclosed a purified and isolated polypeptide having complete or partial primary structure of sequence being shown in the Figure 42A-C, optionally with methionine radical at the N termination and exhibiting haematopoietic biological property of naturally occurring factor of stem cells. In the present invention there are also claimed use of this polypeptide for preparing a medicament for haematopoietic therapy of mammals, further a pharmaceutical composition containing effective amount of this polypeptide and pharmaceutically acceptable solvent, admixture or carrier, and DNA sequence intended for use for expression of this polypeptide in prokaryotic or eukaryotic host cell.
