LOCATION REGISTERING METHOD AFTER SOFT HANDOFF BETWEEN MOBILE CENTRAL OFFICES IN CELLULAR SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A location registering method capable of detecting a location of a mobile station by a mobile central office when a calling operation finishes after a handoff is generated in a cellular system which provides a soft handoff between mobile central offices is provided. CONSTITUTION: A location registering method after a soft handoff between mobile central offices in a cellular system, the method comprising: generating a soft handoff between mobile central offices according to a movement of a mobile station; finishing a normal calling operation of the mobile station after a soft handoff is generated; commanding a location register to a mobile station by a base station; and performing a location register through the base station by a mobile station.
