PURPOSE: An air conditioner corresponding to a long pipe is provided to prevent the cooling performance from declining if a gap between an indoor device and an outdoor device is connected with a long pipe. CONSTITUTION: The air conditioner corresponding to a long pipe is formed by:a pipe sensing piece for outputting a signal of a standard pipe or a long pipe according to the selection of a pipe; and a microcomputer making the operation of an indoor device(130a-130f) different from each other by controlling the pressure of an expansion valve(120a-120f) by the control data which is previously set according to the outputted signal from the pipe sensing piece.
