PURPOSE: A method is provided to prevent a source from modifying when the source is used in common and accessed. CONSTITUTION: The method is comprised of the step of establishing and releasing a lock-out. The step of establishing the lock-out is comprised of the step of determining whether any one of processors is lock-outed when each other computer system connected on the network accesses a predetermined source; requiring the lock-out of other processors connected on the network, if not; receiving an agreement signal from other processors and establishing the lock-out of the one processor. The step of releasing the lock-out is comprised of the step of requiring lock-out releasing signal of other processors by the one processor which in lock-out is established, receiving the lock-out agreement signal from other processors and releasing the lock-out of the one processor.
